Anthony Fauci, the face of Covid restrictions for the last two years, is getting slammed for saying it was ‘disturbing’ that a federal court would rule against the CDC
On Thursday, Fauci talked about a Federal Court Judge’s ruling to strike down Joe Biden’s Fedderal mask mandate on public transportation, like airplanes, saying it could set a “disturbing” precedent for
the next public health crisis and that the CDC should make the decisions and not the court.
Fauci was asked whether or not he agreed with the Federal courts ruling to which he replied,
“Well, I clearly disagree, I mean those types of things should be decided as a public health issue by the public health organizations, in this case the CDC. This is a public health matter, not a judicial matter. So, obviously the CDC will abide by the order of the court because it’s a legal obligation,” he continued. “But one of the problems that we have there is that the principle of a court overruling a public health judgment by a qualified organization like the CDC is disturbing in the precedent in might send.”
Now, many are calling Fauci Stupid saying it’s incredible that Fauci and the CDC think they are above the law. In fact Patrick Morrisey, the West Virginia Attorney General said,
“Fauci may want to take a little time and review the Constitution and the case law. The CDC must follow the law just like any other agency or person. We must fight against the woke-left which appears hell bent on using Covid to control people as long as possible.”
Many others saying Fauci just wants control and power with others going as far as to call Fauci ignorant and deceitful.
The Biden Administration has said they will appeal the ruling.
