Anti-Deportation Protesters Clash With Police In California

Los Angeles Police officers dressed in riot gear got into a standoff with thousands of anti-ICE protesters, who took over parts of downtown Los Angeles. The protesters marching through the streets to oppose President Donald Trump’s deportations.

Protests escalated, with protesters blocking several streets, taking over the 101 Freeway, causing “major gridlock” and forcing police to step in.

Protesters were waving foreign flags while chanting “si se puede” and carrying signs saying “No one is illegal on stolen land” and “Don’t bite the hands that feed you”.

Later in the night police who were sent to push the protesters back, had to deploy tear gas and flashbangs above the mob who refused to comply with official police orders and started throwing objects at the officers.

Many on social media are now calling for ICE, DHS, and the national guard to show up at the Anti-Ice protests – to round up illegals and deport them.
