President Donald Trump is congratulating CNN + on their decision to immediately fold after nobody wanted to watch their programming.
In a statement, Trump said that the network had zero ratings or viewers in any way, shape or form adding that it was like an empty desert out there after spending hundreds of millions of dollars on the hiring of low-rated Chris Wallace.
Trump finished by saying that it’s just one more piece of CNN and Fake news that we don’t have to bother with anymore!
CNN’s brand-new streaming service, CNN+ shut down only a month after launch.
The news was announced In a memo from incoming CNN chief executive Chris Licht who said the service would shut down at the end of April.
Under AT&T, there were $100 million in development costs and some 500 employees assigned to the CNN + building.
CNN + will stop all operations on April 30th
