Judge Juan Merchan Mulls Tossing President Donald Trump’s Felony Conviction In New York

Juan Merchan, the Manhattan judge who presided over the so called Hush Money Trial for President Donald Trump, is considering tossing out the 34 felony convictions against Trump and is set to make a decision by next week.

Merchan has said he will rule by Nov. 12 to set aside or let stand the conviction in the after math of The Supreme Court’s ruling on Immunity and Trump winning the election.

Sentencing in the case was delayed twice until after the election. If Merchan decides to let the conviction stand – sentencing will be November 26th.

Even if Merchan lets the conviction stand, legal experts have agreed that President Trump would not face prison time, whether Trump won the election  or not.
