An Indiana Woman has been arrested & charged for making de*th threats on Facebook against President Donald Trump
50-year-old Nathalie Rose Jones, of Lafayette, Indiana, was arrested in DC and charged with two federal crimes in connection with making a series of threats on social media in which she threatened to k*ll President Trump.
Jones was charged with threatening to take the life of, kidnap, or inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States, and transmitting in interstate commerce communications containing threats.
According to court documents, from August 2 to August 9, The Secret Server observed an Instagram user account “nath.jones” had posted threatening comments about Trump.
The Instagram user called for President Trump’s removal, labeled him as a t*rrorist, referred to his administration as a dictatorship, and said that Trump had caused extreme and unnecessary loss of life in relation to c*vid.
Then on Facebook the same account continued to post threatening comments with one saying “I am willing to sacrificially k*ll this POTUS by disemboweling him and cutting out his trachea with Liz Cheney”
She also petitioned Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, writing “please arrange the arrest and removal ceremony of POTUS Trump as a terrorist on the American.”
When the Secret Service interviewed Jones, she admitted to the comments, calling Trump a
“terrorist” and a “nazi,” and said that if she had the opportunity, she would take the President’s life and would *ill him at “the compound”
She said she had a “bladed object,” which she would use to “carry out her mission of k*lling” the president, and that she wanted to “avenge all the lives lost during the Covid-19 pandemic,”
Law enforcement arrested her and she confirmed that she was the owner of the Facebook and Instagram accounts that posted the threatening statements.
