18 republicans voted in favor of the massive $1.5 trillion spending bill that includes more than $4,000 earmarks, sending billions of dollars to fund the pet projects of certain politicians.

According to gun owners.org tucked inside the Violence Against Women Act and the NICS Denial Notification Act, In sections 1101 and 1102 are provisions saying authorities will now launch criminal investigations into firearm transfer background check denials even though, they say, 9 out of every 10 times the system falsely denies law abiding citizens.
In section 1103 funding is given to the ATF to deputize local police to enforce federal gun laws, which they claim will undermine Second Amendment Protection Act states.
