As the price of nearly everything from housing to food soars higher each month, and Americans are paying record prices at the pump – some people are finding different ways get around what’s being called Biden’s Gas Hike
Nearly 400 gallons of gas was stolen from a North Carolina gas station.
It happened after business hours, over the course of about 45 minutes. More than 15 cars pulled up to the pump and filled up their tanks after someone appeared used a device that bypassed the payment system.
Police were called after people noticed the large number of vehicles at the station after hours.
The owner of the gas station said that he will now shut off his pumps when the business is not open.
The record setting gas prices have been on the rise since Joe Biden Took office.
In the Summer Of 2020 – the average price for gas was as low as $1.78 a gallon. In February of this year – just before the Russian, Ukraine conflict – Gas was $3.60 a gallon. That’s nearly a $2 dollar per gallon jump.
Now, weeks after the conflict started, and a ban on Russian Oil – the average price per gallon is $4.28 gallon – which equals out to about 60 cents. The last time gas prices were this high was back in 2008 when Barrack Obama was the president.
