This is the MacArthur Park that Mayor Karen Bass said was ‘packed with children playing’ before the ICE raid that recently took place in the area.
During the mayor’s confrontation with federal agents – Mayor Bass said that the military came through a park that had kids playing,
“This is footage from today in MacArthur Park. Minutes before, there were more than 20 kids playing — then, the MILITARY comes through. The SECOND I heard about this, I went to the park to speak to the person in charge to tell them it needed to end NOW. Absolutely outrageous.”
“They need to leave — and they need to leave right now. This is unacceptable”
Many are now asserting that the park is no place for children, rather it’s packed with homeless, drugs and MS-13 gang members
