FBI Director Kash Patel has initiated a “grand criminal conspiracy” investigation into people like Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, James Comey, and others who allegedly took part in a decade-long scheme to weaponize the federal government against President Donald Trump
The investigation focuses on the 2016 Russia collusion hoax through the 2022 Mar-a-Lago raid, framing them as part of an ongoing conspiracy to interfere in U.S. elections.
By classifying it as a conspiracy, investigators can bypass the five-year statute of limitations on individual crimes, because each time a new crime is committed in the conspiracy, it resets the clock.
The conspiracy framework allows charges to be made for crimes dating back to 2016, like the FBI’s handling of the Steele dossier and the nullification project.
According to reports, the investigation implicates high-profile figures including former President Barack Obama, former CIA Director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and former FBI Director James Comey – not to mention the woman behind the funding of the now debunked Steele dossier – Hillary Clinton.
In addition, there may be a possibility that the case could be tried in Florida, because of the Mar-a-Lago raid.
Moving it to Florida could result in a more favorable jury pool and increase conviction chances compared to Washington, D.C. or Virginia.
The investigation stems from newly discovered classified documents, including a 2016 inspector general report on Hillary Clinton’s email scandal and John Durham’s “Clinton plan intelligence,” which allegedly shows they ignored evidence of wrongdoing while pursuing baseless claims against Trump.
These documents were reportedly hidden by the Comey-era FBI, but Patel’s team uncovered them, potentially leading to a special prosecutor.
