The Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party has stripped Fateh of its endorsement for Minneapolis mayor, following a damning investigation that revealed serious irregularities in the endorsement process – AKA cheating

The revocation stems from a review by the DFL’s Constitution, Bylaws and Rules Committee (CBRC), which exposed multiple failures in the July 19 convention’s voting procedures.
The convention relied on an insecure Excel spreadsheet for tabulating votes, which led to a substantial undercount of votes on the first ballot.
This error improperly eliminated candidate DeWayne Davis, who had actually met the 20% threshold needed to advance.
The spreadsheet was not properly secured, allowing non-credentials committee members, including campaign representatives, to access and potentially change it.
