#new Barack Obama released a statement after a Soros backed opposition leader won the national election in Hungary.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán was booted out of his position by Soros backed Péter Magyar & his Tisza party.
Orbán had been in power for 16 years.
Obama and Alex Soros, George Soros’ son’ immediately praised the shift in power.
Alex Soros declared that the people of Hungary took back their country and rejected “entrenched corruption and foreign interference” While Obama praised the outcome as a big win for democracy worldwide,
“The victory of the opposition in Hungary yesterday, like the Polish election in 2023, is a victory for democracy, not just in Europe but around the world. “
“Most of all, it’s a testament to the resilience and determination of the Hungarian people – and a reminder to all of us to keep striving for fairness, equality and the rule of law.”

Between 2016 and 2023, Soros-linked Open Society Foundations sent about $89.5 million to Hungarian civil society organizations.
In the 2022 election year alone, that included around $17 million.
The money was sent to groups who pushed open borders, mass migration, focused on judicial issues, media, opposition aligned causes
Orbán and Fidesz repeatedly warned that Soros networks, USAID and EU channels were backing the opposition.
They pointed to long-term funding of NGOs that later supported anti-government agendas.
A Hungarian Sovereignty Protection Office report flagged at least $64 million in foreign-backed political pressure operations in recent years, involving multiple funding streams including Soros foundations
