#new NGOs are bussing homeless people into Los Angeles to milk taxpayer dollars, under Democrat Mayor Karen Bass
“They don’t care about these people. If they fix these people, the money stops!”
Documents show that “Body brokers” recruit or transport homeless addicts and vulnerable people across states for “beds in facilities” that then bill insurance or government programs.
Federal indictments in Orange County and reports in Santa Monica and LA confirm that this is going on.
Multiple federal cases confirm the waste and theft.
For example,
A Westwood man was arrested for allegedly stealing $23 million in homelessness funds for luxury purchases.
A Beverly Hills CFO was charged in a$25.9 million Home-key grant fraud, and property flipping scams that double prices for homeless housing using taxpayer money.
Los Angeles spends over $1 billion each year on homelessness with virtually non-existent results as homeless numbers are at record highs despite claims of progress under Bass.
LA mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt exposed the NGOs alleged operation saying the Democrats are treating people like “products” to steal taxpayer money.
“Over 60% of the people on the streets of LA aren’t even from LA. It’s because these NGOs have bussed them in because they’re products.”
“They use their Social Security numbers to get Medicaid money. They get state money, federal money, and city money.”
“These are products, these human beings. They don’t care about these people. If they fix these people, the money stops!”
“So when I get in, we UNPLUG this whole complex and the city is going to have BILLIONS of dollars to put back into our infrastructure.”
