In a statement, the Mobile County Sheriff said that 31-year-old Juan Carlos Argueta Guerra – who ran from the scene – had a handgun – something illegals are not allowed to possess.
He is facing three charges of kidnapping in the first degree
60-year-old Sil-verio Garcia is being charged with possession of a firearm as an illegal migrant. He is being linked to the kidnapping as the mother’s employer who reportedly had a relationship with one of her older daughters
They came into the country illegally and were released by the Biden administration in 2021.
Authorities believe 40-year-old Aurelia Choc, her 17-year-old daughter Niurka Choc and her 2-year-old son Anthony Choc were taken from their home around Jan 30th.
The mother and 17-year-old daughter are also in the U.S. illegally with final deportation orders issued in April of last year.
The family is still missing, and blood was found at the scene. Investigators are also looking for a black van that was involved at the house on multiple different occasions, including the morning they went missing.
