California Sheriff Warns Nation About Newsom And How He’s Ruined The Golden State

A California Sheriff is warning the nation about Gov. Gavin Newsom and how he’s ruined the Golden state

“As a California Sheriff, let me make this perfectly clear to those in the 49 other states”

“You do not want Gavin Newsom as president someday.”

“Do not give this man the chance to do to our country what he’s done to my home.”

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco warned people across the nation that electing Newsom to the presidency could ruin the U.S. citing the governor’s track record of sky-high crime, costs, and homelessness.

Bianco, a Republican eyeing the 2026 gubernatorial race, detailed how Newsom’s leadership transformed California from an economic powerhouse into a state with overregulation, fiscal irresponsibility, and social breakdown.

Under Newsom’s tenure since 2019, California has struggled with issues stemming from ‘progressive policies’ that republicans say prioritize ideology over practical governance.

California now accounts for nearly 30% of the nation’s homeless population, with over 180,000 homeless people as of the 2023 count.

The state has poured about $24 billion into homelessness initiatives since Newsom took office, however the crisis has gotten worse by about 30,000 people in that period alone.

High taxes, strict environmental rules, and soaring operational costs have prompted a steady flow of businesses leaving the state.

Major players like Chevron, Tesla, and Oracle have shifted headquarters out of state in recent years, citing regulatory burdens and crime as primary drivers.****

Violent crime rates climbed 15.1% from 2018 to 2023, reaching 503 incidents per 100,000 residents last year—a 1.7% increase from 2022.

Policies like Proposition 47, which reduced penalties for certain thefts, are blamed for encouraging criminals, especially in urban areas where retail theft and property crimes have surged.

What started as a $100 billion surplus under prior leadership has devolved into chronic shortfalls, with Newsom announcing a $12 billion deficit in May 2025 alone.

Soaring social services costs, coupled with revenue dips from the business exodus, have forced repeated slashes to education, health care, and infrastructure—moves that hit working families hardest.

Median home prices are more than $800,000 statewide, pricing out middle-class families and exacerbating the homeless problem.

Aggressive clean energy pushes have left the grid vulnerable, resulting in widespread blackouts like the 2020 heatwave crisis that affected over 800,000 customers.
