The pain at the pump is expected to get worse as experts say the price per gallon will continue to rise. As it stands now, according to AAA, the national average gas is more than $4 a gallon. The same time last year it was $1.30 cheaper and just to give you a little perspective this summer – before Joe Biden took office – the national average was $1.87 per gallon.
That is not the case now. Check out some of these gas prices… in Los Angeles at a Chevron a gallon of regular gas will cost you $6.71 a gallon, in Beverly Hills gas is going for $6.95 a gallon, in Portland expect to pay $6.29 a gallon and in Seattle Washington a record high of $5.07 a gallon.
As for crude oil it’s at about $140 a barrel its highest since 2008 with experts saying it could soar to $185 a barrel later this year. Take a look at this, nine out of the 10 states for most expensive gas prices across the nation are Democrat run states; California topping the list for most expensive followed by Hawaii Nevada Oregon and Washington.
