Nearly three dozen kids were rescued in Texas during a child trafficking sting called Operation Lightning Bug
Authorities successfully located and recovered more than 30 missing children.
The bust now puts the total children rescued to more than 120.
Six child survivors of sex trafficking were identified and rescued during the operation.
Three suspects were arrested for harboring runaways, and nine felony arrest warrants were served.
The operation was spearheaded by the U.S. Marshals Service’s Lone Star Fugitive Task Force which was working with the San Antonio Police Department and other agencies.
