Camille Stewart Gloster, who used to work for Google as their executive in charge of removing “disinformation” from the platform, has been given the role of Deputy National Cyber Director.
According to Homeland Security Today,
“Gloster will lead the Office of the National Cyber Director’s (ONCD) ongoing efforts to strengthen the security and development of our Nation’s cyber ecosystem.”
A vital role in the White House with Joe Biden even releasing a statement in March emphasizing the importance of Cyber Security saying in part,
“This is a critical moment to accelerate our work to improve domestic cybersecurity and bolster our national resilience. I have previously warned about the potential that Russia could conduct malicious cyber activity against the United States, including as a response to the unprecedented economic costs we’ve imposed on Russia alongside our allies and partners. It’s part of Russia’s playbook. Today, my Administration is reiterating those warnings based on evolving intelligence that the Russian Government is exploring options for potential cyberattacks.”
However, Gloster appears to be focused more on the far left agenda tying the seemingly unrelated topic of cyber security to systemic racism tweeting that systemic racism is a Cybersecurity Threat,

Systemic Racism Is a Cybersecurity Threat
“People have argued that if we address social and systemic issues separately, we will get the technology right. However, the social and the technological are mutually constitutive.” https://t.co/YWHIZEaeuU

In 2020, after Jacob Blake was shot in Kenosha Wisconsin, Gloster said America’s “#NatSec apparatus must be a part of dismantling systemic racism” Blake was holding a knife and was physically fighting police before he was shot.
I hope all of my #NatSec & #ForeignPolicy colleagues join us for this important discussion. On the heels of the horrific shooting of #JacobBlake, it is clear there is a lot of work to be done generally & our #NatSec apparatus must be a part of dismantling systemic racism. https://t.co/4VIGJVdkXg

Many are speaking out against the move saying that Biden is appointing another ‘social justice warrior’ to run the cyber office in an effort to use national security to achieve his domestic political goals, just like he did with the ‘disinformation governance board and the Department of Homeland Security.
