Aguayo News Previously Reported:
Governor Greg Abbott’s plan to make Mexico help in slowing the massive surge of illegal migrants crossing the southern border was successful.
The Texas Governor enacted a new border policy ordering that all commercial trucks coming into the United States from Mexico to go through enhanced safety inspections. Those inspections of every truck were being made to look for drugs and illegal migrants as they crossed at least four international bridges.
The move causing long lines and gridlocks at some of the worlds busiest trade bridges. The back up at border bridges sent mainstream media outlets and local media stations alike into an absolute frenzy demanding that the Governor back off, and warning Americans that Abbott’s move would cause a massive nationwide food shortage.
However, that didn’t happen, in fact Governor Abbott’s plan was to get Mexico to start implementing security measures that will reduce the number of illegal migrants coming across the southern border, which they did.
Three Governors have already reached a deal with Governor Abbott for increased border security measures as a trade to stop the enhanced inspections that were starting to impact the Mexican economy.
Abbott announced agreements with Chihuahua Gov. María Eugenia Campos -whose state is across the Rio Grande from El Paso -Coahuila Gov. Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís – whose state shares international bridges with Del Rio and Eagle Pass, and the governor of Nuevo León, the state that has a commercial bridge outside of Nuevo Laredo.
Abbott said state troopers will continue inspecting every commercial truck entering Texas from Tamaulipas, which shares border crossings with McAllen and Brownsville, until an agreement is made with Governor Cabeza.
Abbot asserted that Texas has had to take matters into its own hands as the Biden Administration continues to encourage hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants to arrive at the southern border each month.
