Governor Greg Abbott taking a shot at Joe Biden over record setting gas prices that are as high as $7.00 a gallon in some U S cities.
The Texas governor saying “Instead of begging other countries for oil, Biden can stop hindering the U.Ss energy sector. Texas can easily produce enough oil to reduce gas prices if his administration would get out of the way!”
Governor Abbott responding to a report that said Biden plans on taking a trip to Saudi Arabia to ask the Islamic nation to produce more oil. Many are blaming Biden for the spike in gas prices that were as low as $1.87 a gallon when President Donald Trump was in office, those critics pointing to Biden’s decisions to stop oil and gas leasing on federal lands and cancel the Keystone XL pipeline.
Meanwhile the Senate is set to vote on legislation from Senator Ted Cruz that would force Biden to impose sanctions on the Russian NordStream two pipelin, sanctions both Biden and the Democrats oppose.
