Austin Tucker Martin The 21-year-old killed after entering Mar-a-Lago with a shotgun and gas can
A 21-year-old man has been killed after walking into Mar-A-Lago with a shotgun and a gas can.
Austin Tucker Martin – the 21-year-old North Carolina native, was k*lled at around 1:30 Sunday morning at Trump’s home in Palm Beach, Florida, according to the Secret Service.
President Donald Trump and first lady Melania were at the White House at the time.
After entering near the north gate of the resort, Martin was confronted by two Secret Service agents and a deputy with the County Sheriff’s Office.
He was ordered to drop his weapon, but instead, he put down the gas can, and raised his shotgun
The agents and the deputy fired their weapons to “neutralize the threat.’
Martin was reported missing by his family, with authorities saying he picked up the shotgun on his way down South.
The box for the weapon was found inside Martin’s car – which his family identified.
Family members said on Facebook that Martin was last heard from on Saturday just before 8pm after he left his home in Cameron, North Carolina, at around 1pm
Police have not released a motive yet, but this would be the at least the third attempt on his live. He was shot in the ear during an assassination attempt during a campaign rally in Butler, Pa., on July 13, 2024.
Then on Sept. 15, 2024, Ryan Routh tried to k*ll Trump at his golf course in West Palm Beach while the president played a round. He was sentenced to life in prison earlier this month
