Murders In Houston Spike, Police Union Pres Points To Democrat Judges, Courts

Murders in Houston Texas have spiked by 50% since Joe Biden Took office. 41 homicides were committed in just 24 days in Harris County, meaning that Houston has a higher murder rate then cities known for their violent crime.

Through January 23rd. Houston had 18 more murders than New York City, 12 more than Los Angeles and two more homicides than the city of Chicago.

According to The President of the Houston Police officers Union – Douglas Griffith – if this rate continues they will have more than 500 murders in the city this year. Griffith saying that it is so bad, he’s fearful about his family going outside of the house.

However, he said, thanks to the Mayor and the City Council they will get much needed funding for their officers which will help in combatting a court system that has taken a soft on crime approach.

In November of 2020 voters boot out Republican Seated Judges making All of Harris County’s state district judges Democrats.
