The mystery surrounding the attack on Paul Pelosi continues as new details revealed that the 82-year-old calmly answered the door to police when they responded to his 911 call.
According to a report, Pelosi did not tell police he needed help, he did not try to run out of the house, he did not tell the police that there was an ‘intruder’ inside, instead Pelosi ‘smiled’ and walked back into the foyer.
That’s when 42-year old David DePape allegedly hit him with a hammer.
The report did not indicate if Pelosi was already injured at the time or what his mental state was when he walked back towards DePape and away from police.
Sources also revealed that the officers who responded to the 911 call did not know that they were at the home of Nancy Policy, who was in Washington, D.C. at the time.
DePape is facing charges for allegedly breaking into the Pelosi home and attacking Paul Pelosi with a hammer. DePape was allegedly looking for the House Speaker.
