A Pregnant woman who took so much Tylenol after President Donald Trump announced it could cause autism, is now in the hospital and will most likely die, according to the Executive Director of American Frontline Nurses.
Nicole Sirotek, a registered Nurse who founded AFN described how she got a quote
“Very frantic call at 4am from a husband whose wife is now dying of liver failure on a ventilator in an ICU, after trying to prove that Tylenol doesn’t cause autism because of what Trump said”
The pregnant woman is reportedly 23-25 weeks along.
She was motivated by disbelief in President Donald Trump’s recent statements linking Tylenol (acetaminophen) to autism risk, then overdosed on the drug to “prove” it doesn’t cause autism.
As a result, she allegedly suffered acute liver failure, was placed on a ventilator in the ICU, and is expected to die.
President Trump announced during a White House News conference that the FDA would update labeling for acetaminophen – which is Tylenol’s active ingredient.
It will now warn pregnant women of a “possible association” with increased autism risk in children, based on studies from Johns Hopkins and Harvard.
Trump repeatedly advised pregnant women not to take Tylenol unless medically necessary.
The announcement sparked backlash, including TikTok trends and videos where pregnant women are taking Tylenol on camera – in opposition to Trump.
