Rep. Eric Swalwell is about to be hit with s*xual harassment accusations from multiple former staffers and interns, according to an attorney who claims
“Swalwell has slept with many of his interns and makes them all sign NDAs so they don’t speak up.”
She says she knows this because she is working with the women who plan to come forward.
Swalwell, who is running to be the next Governor of California is already being accused of engaging in a “pattern of manipulation and abuse of power” involving employees, interns, and even fans. The accusations have been made by Attorney Cheyenne Hunt.
Hunt says she is personally working with several women who told her about uncomfortable comments, direct messages, Snapchat threads, and conduct that could “cross into criminal territory.”
Hunt is publicly claiming that Swalwell “has slept with many of his interns and makes them all sign NDAs so they don’t speak up.”
One woman says that when she was 19, Swalwell slid into her DMs, and she knew others who experienced the same thing.
Hunt said his actions are “not an anomaly” but part of a bigger pattern
Hunt saying,
“I got involved because the first victim who approached me is a close friend, but when I saw that there were others whose experiences fit the same pattern of manipulation and abuse of power, I knew I couldn’t stay silent.”
She added that she has been connecting the women with investigative reporters who have been looking into this for years.
As of now, the identities of the women have not been made public, and all claims are coming directly from Hunt.
In addition Hunt hasn’t detailed how many women are involved in the alleged abuse, but says Swalwell’s office is aware of the situation.
This isn’t the first time that Swalwell’s s*x life has come into the spotlight, in fact critics are pointing out his ties to Christine Fang – AKA Fang Fang a suspected Chinese spy who got close to him, helped raise money for his campaigns, and was linked to his congressional office.
Swalwell was eventually removed from the House Intelligence Committee over national-security concerns tied to that relationship.
The Democrat representative has been married to his wife, Brittany Watts Swalwell for about 9 and a half years.
They have three children together: ages 4, 7 and 8****
Hunt adding,
“Other women needed to know that they were not alone and that someone had their backs if they came forward. After I spoke about my friend’s experience, many brave women came forward and shared their stories with me.”
“We have secured pro bono legal representation for them and they are in the process of sharing information with reporters and ensuring that they are physically and legally safe. That process takes time.”
“The number of credible women who have come forward since I posted my video is pretty shocking and connecting them with the investigative reporting teams who have been working on breaking this for years has greatly expedited this process. I am confident this story will break soon.”
“I understand that people want as much information as possible regarding these women, their stories, and their identities. The problem is, most of these women stayed silent because they believe that they are alone in their experience & that coming forward could ruin their careers.”
“It appears that others may have stayed quiet due to a belief that non-disclosure agreements required them to keep this secret. While it is true that most NDAs would be unenforceable under these circumstances, most people don’t know that until they speak to a lawyer.”
