Republicans are calling for an investigation after the New York Times admitted that Hunter Biden’s Laptop is authentic.
Many in the GOP are pointing to the 2020 censorship of the laptop story by Big Tech saying Social Media giants need to be dismantled and that the mainstream media engaged in the most egregious form of election interference as they ‘hid the information from the American public’ in the weeks leading up to the Presidential election.
According to a poll, 17% of voters said that if they had known about the contents of the laptop they would not have voted for Joe Biden.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz is calling for in investigation into everyone involved in the “lie about the Biden family’s corruption, including former intelligence officials who were plastered all over the main stream media pushing conspiracy theories about President Donald Trump.”
Hunter Biden is already under federal investigation for his tax filings and business dealings.
He is also facing a lawsuit from the mother of his child. Her attorney, Clint Lancaster, believes that Hunter will in fact be indicted after he provided a massive amount of information to a federal prosecutor about Hunter’s finances. That prosecutor has asked Lancaster and his client to testify to a federal grand jury. They both agreed.
