The People’s Convoy Temporarily Heading Back To California

The People’s Convoy, which has been camped out at Hagerstown Speedway just outside of D.C.  is temporarily heading back to California

Organizer Mike Landis announced last night that the group, which has been making nearly daily trips to the D.C. beltway for nearly three weeks to protest government over-reach and excessive covid 19 restrictions, will head back to the Golden state to protest pending restrictions in California.

During the truckers nightly rally, Landis highlighted 10 bills that are up for a vote next week and all relate to strict COVID control measures, saying stopping the bills is more important than repealing restrictions that are already in place.

Landis also hinted at a return to the D.C. area saying “we are not done here”

The People’s convoy was sparked by the Freedom Convoy that took place in Canada and protested the vaccine mandate on Essential workers, that is still in place.

They met up with several other convoys and grew to at least 10,000 strong including supporters and drivers. They also met with Texas Senator Ted Cruz and  Senator Ron Johnson out of Wisconsin. However, not a single Democrat was willing to have a conversation with the concerned citizens, opting to ignore the group instead
of attempting to address their concerns.
