The attorney who was arrested for contempt of court after a heated confrontation with a female judge in Pontotoc County,… closed down their LGBTQ law firm.
Rob Hopkins, who identifies as tr*ns announced that Hopkins Law and Associates is shutting down in the wake of the incident, during which he repeatedly interrupted the judge, invoked his tr*nsgender status, resisted deputies, and was physically taken into custody.
“At this time, it is the right move for me to step away,” Hopkins stated. The firm posted: “We are closing our doors, but we would like to thank you all for your kindness, support, and most of all loyalty for the last 13 years!
Hopkins was held in contempt and removed from the proceedings.
