Two Illegal Migrants have been Arrested For Kidnapping, & Trafficking A 13-Year-Old Girl In Florida
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Marlon Alfaro-Alvarez and 25-year-old Floyd Amaya Garvin after they allegedly kidnapped a 13-year-old girl then trafficked her.
Deputies were able to rescue the girl after she sent a message to her sister – telling her she was in ‘danger’.
The sister called 911 and deputies were able to find the Tampa motel where the girl was being held captive.
Investigators say the suspects contacted the girl through social media, gained her trust under false pretenses, lied to her about their intentions then took her to the A1 Motel in Tampa.
At the motel, the victim begged to go home, but the illegal migrants allegedly held her down, and wouldn’t let her leave.
The migrants then offered the girl money in exchange for sex.
Sheriff Chad Chronister condemned the suspects, stating, “This child was lured, isolated, and targeted by adults who made the deliberate choice to exploit her. Their actions were predatory and calculated.”
Marlon Alfaro-Alvarez is being charged with:
Human trafficking for commercial sexual activity (victim under 18)
Lewd and lascivious molestation
Lewd and lascivious exhibition
False imprisonment
Contributing to the delinquency or dependency of a minor
Resisting an officer without violence
Floyd Amaya Garvin is being charged with:
Human trafficking for commercial sexual activity (victim under 18)
False imprisonment of a child
Contributing to the delinquency of a child
