A Virginia Republican is fighting back against racism claims over Hakeem Jeffries ‘cotton-pickin hands’ comment.

Rep. Jen Kiggans (R-Va.) saying,

“This is precisely what’s wrong with Democrats.”

“Every lie and distortion is intended to distract from getting their hats handed to them and the Virginia Supreme Court’s clear message: stop trying to rig our elections.”

It happened when Kriggans was talking to a radio host about Virginia Democrats’ failed attempt to eliminate all but one GOP seats – including Kiggans’ 2nd District seat around Virginia Beach.

and now Democrats are demanding she resign over it, saying the phrase was “vile and racist language” with ties to slavery and sharecropping, labeling it a “racist dog whistle”

Kriggins later clarified what she was agreeing with.
