During a parliament session in Brussels this week, several officials called out the Prime Minster of Canada – Justin Trudeau – saying that he violated human rights over the way he shut down the freedom Convoy and what he accused his own citizens of being.
Croatian MEP Mislav Kolkusic said that the world “watched how you trample women with horses” talking about the police on horseback who appeared to run over, trample Canadian citizens who were protesting.
The Freedom Convoy movement started as a protest against the vaccine mandates imposed on essential workers. Don’t get the Jab, don’t get to work kind of deal.
Kolakusic also slammed the move that was taken to freeze bank accounts of anyone participating in or supporting the Freedom Convoy.
“To you, these may be liberal methods, for many citizens of the world, it is a dictatorship of the worst kind,” said Kolakusic.
German MEP Christine Anderson, agreed saying Trudeau was a “disgrace for any democracy” and asked that he please spare them his presence.
“A prime minister who openly admires the Chinese basic dictatorship, who tramples on fundamental rights by persecuting and criminalizing his own citizens as terrorists just because they dared to stand up to his perverted concept of democracy, should not be allowed to speak in this house at all,” said Anderson.
A third politician, Romanian MEP Christian Terhes, refused to attend the speech all together.
