President Donald Trump took aim at the New York Attorney General saying that her so called investigation is in fact a political prosecution.
Trump released a statement slamming Letitia James after she petitioned a judge to hold him in contempt of court for allegedly refusing to turn over documents she subpoenaed for her civil investigation into Trump’s business.
“This is just a continuation of the greatest Witch Hunt of all time, by a failed Attorney General…I’ve been investigated by the Democrats more than Billy the Kid, Jesse James, and Al Capone, combined. This has been going on for years.”
Trump went on to say that James is no longer the AG but an operative for the democrat Party in a political prosecution. He also said James was an embarrassment to the legal system and that while she is using her office for political gain, New York is going to hell experiencing the highest level of drug trafficking and violent Crime ever recorded.
