A Trump-appointed U.S. prosecutor is deciding whether or not to seek a federal grand jury indictment against Hunter Biden.
David Weiss is considering whether there is enough evidence to indict Biden on charges of tax fraud, money laundering, and the violation of lobbying laws.
Weiss, a twenty-year federal prosecutor, has served as the U.S. Attorney in Delaware since 2018. Former President Donald Trump appointed him and Weiss received endorsements from a pair of Democrats, both from Delaware.

Wiess’ investigation may include other members of the Biden Family like Joe Biden’s Brother James Biden and might even include Joe Biden Himself.
Hunter is currently under investigation by the FBI for tax fraud, money laundering, and the violation of lobbying laws.
Joe Biden has repeatedly claimed that he does not know and never knew about his family’s allegedly corrupt foreign business dealings. However, emails, text messages, photos and reported meetings paint a different picture.

In fact, Hunter travelled to China with Joe Biden when he was the Vice President, and at a time when Joe was put in charge of overseeing relations with China, Ukraine and other nations – where Hunter immediately started cutting deals – by then President Barack Obama.
In one text message from 2019 Hunter talked to his daughter about how Joe Biden took a 50% cut of his business deals for three decades,
“I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family for 30 years. It’s really hard. But don’t worry, unlike Pop [Joe], I won’t make you give me half your salary.”
In addition, Hunter’s ‘laptop from hell’ was recently confirmed as legitimate by The New York Times and the Washington Post. On that laptop that Hunter abandoned at a repair shop back in 2019, thousands of emails spanning 10 years time of Hunter Biden’s business dealings.

Some of the emails talk about a 10% cut of one deal being set aside for “the big guy,” who a business partner of Hunter Biden confirmed was Joe Biden.
The New York Post reported on the laptop in the months leading up to the 2020 election but was censored by Big Tech.
As for Weiss, he is the same prosecutor who put the Hunter Biden investigation on hold in 2020:
The New York Post reported at the time:
The top federal prosecutor in Delaware decided to pause a criminal investigation of Hunter Biden months before the 2020 election to prevent the public from learning about it, according to a report.
US Attorney David Weiss, appointed by former President Donald Trump, decided not to seek search warrants or issue grand jury subpoenas so as not to “alert the public to the existence of the case in the middle of a presidential election,” Politico reports.
The prosecutor’s office reportedly was torn over whether to continue its probe or pause it due to the election, and Weiss, who remains in his job leading the case, sided with those who wanted to wait.
