Derek Zubeldia, the Texas State Senate Candidate for District 29 which includes all of El Paso, TX, was a special guest at the Chihuahua’s baseball game held at Southwest University Park in Downtown El Paso.
Zubeldia, who grew up poor in Pecos, Texas is running against Cesar Blanco for the State Senate spot and brings with him a wealth of experience in the business and energy sectors.
The Texas native worked hard to put himself through college, learned what it takes to be successful in business then launched his own company, Zubeldia Energy, LLC.
Zubeldia promises to use that experience in business to help bring higher paying jobs to El Paso, and to lower taxes – which are the 2nd highest in the nation.
He also vows to bring down the price of food that has skyrocketed over the last year and a half plaguing hard working Texas families and use his extensive knowledge of the oil and gas industry to reduce the price of gas to all Texans across the Lone Star State.

During Saturday night’s game, Zubeldia was ushered down to the field to throw out the ceremonial first pitch and was featured on the team’s digital board during the fourth inning of the game.
Zubeldia purchased tickets to give away to at least 30 residents of El Paso who enjoyed free food, free drinks and the baseball game courtesy of Zubeldia.
