Lindsey Kander, a Human Resource associate for Twitter, tweeted out a picture of herself appearing to cry with the caption,
“It’s insane because I knew it was coming but I’m absolutely ripped in half. I’m embarrassed for posting, but it hurts because this company is so damn special.”

On Friday, Elon Musk reportedly cut 3,700 Twitter employees, which equals more than half of the tech giant’s global workforce – a move to help cut costs at a company that has been losing money for the better part of 10 years.
Kander, who was so ‘distraught’ after learning she lost her job that she apparently forgot that she tweeted out the week before how mush she hated her job at Twitter.
