The new CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk, has officially endorsed Republicans for the Midterm elections, saying he is voting Republican and advising others to do the same thing, in the name of democracy.
“To independent-minded voters: Shared power curbs the worst excesses of both parties, therefore I recommend voting for a Republican Congress, given that the Presidency is Democratic,” Musk wrote.

“I have voted overwhelmingly for Democrats, historically – overwhelmingly. Like, I’m not sure, I might never have voted for a Republican, just to be clear. Now this election, I will,” he said at the time.
Most expect Republicans will take control of both the House and the Senate come Tuesday, after polls indicate the overwhelming majority of Americans are upset over the failed policies of the current administration that have led to skyrocketing inflation, big government spending, high crime and open borders.
The announcement comes about a week after the billionaire businessman took over Twitter and started making moves to the platform to rid it of excess, censorship and liberal bias.
Musk said his goal was to protect the freedom of speech, something he said is needed to protect democracy.
