The Biden Administration recently established a ‘Disinformation Governance Board’ to stop the spread of what they deem to be disinformation spread by Americans. A board that will surely be assisted by Big Tech and the mainstream media.
However, When Biden’s White House tweeted out a blatantly false statement about the Covid-19 Vaccine Twitter did nothing despite terminating tens of thousands of conservative accounts for ‘spreading covid disinformation.’
The far fetched claim made by the White House indicated that when Biden took office in Jan. 2021, there was ‘no vaccine available,’
“When President Biden took office, millions were unemployed and there was no vaccine available. In the last 15 months, the economy has created 8.3M jobs and the unemployment rate stands at 3.6% — the fastest decline in unemployment to start a President’s term ever recorded.”
The information contained in the Tweet is clearly false as the vaccine was available, in fact Biden received his first dose of the vaccine on Dec. 21, 2020 and got his second dose one week before he was inagurated.
Never the less Twitter did not slap the Tweet with a ‘disinformation’ label, it was not ‘fact-checked’ by their liberal ‘fact-checkers,’ they did not take the tweet down or suspend the account.
Twitter’s policy states that users “may not use Twitter’s services to share false or misleading information about COVID-19.”
It goes on to say that content related to COVID-19 is considered a violation if it’s “demonstrably false or misleading, based on widely available, authoritative sources.”
Twitter states that users can be locked of their account until the tweet is deleted and a permanent suspension could be issued to repeat offenders.
There are tens of thousands of examples of Twitter enforcing their ‘disinformation’ policy with many conservative users getting suspended after one tweet.
In the months leading up to the 2020 election, The New York Post was suspended for posting the now legitimized story on Hunter Biden’s ‘laptop from hell.’
