The billionaire who bankrolled E.Jean Carroll ‘s lawsuit against President Donald Trump appears thousands of times in the latest Epst*in files dump.
Newly unsealed documents from the Epst*in files have revealed that LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman was a frequent associate of Epst*in.
The files show that Hoffman made numerous visits to Epstein’s properties, including his private Caribbean island—often dubbed “P*dophile Island”—and the sprawling Zorro Ranch in New Mexico.
Hoffman’s name surfaces more than 2,600 times from 2013 to 2018.
Emails and schedules show a pattern of close interactions, with Epst*in describing the billionaire as a “very close friend.”
Documents reveal:
Multiple dinners, Zoom calls, and in-person meetings
Epstein advised Hoffman on tax strategies and even assisted in shopping for a private jet.
Hoffman introduced Epst*in to tech giants like Peter Thiel
Possible connections facilitated by Epst*in to foreign dignitaries, including the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.
The two hung out well after Epst*in’s 2008 conviction for ‘procuring a minor for prostitution.’
In 2014 or 2015, Hoffman traveled to Little St. James, Epst*in’s Island.
Emails reference Hoffman spending the night at Epst*in’s New York mansion on 71st Street and planning a weekend at Zorro Ranch, Epst*in’s 10,000-acre estate near Santa Fe, New Mexico, where allegations of abuse also surfaced.
Additional records show group trips, with Epst*in arranging helicopter transfers from St. Thomas to the island for Hoffman and others.
Hoffman, worth about $2.1 billion from LinkedIn, channeled funds through his nonprofit American Future Republic to cover legal fees in Carroll’s 2019 lawsuit against Trump.
Hoffman’s involvement, disclosed late in the proceedings, prompted Trump’s team to question Carroll’s motives.
Hoffman donated nearly $700,000 to Biden’s 2020 campaign shortly after his Epst*in island visit was revealed, poured thousands into vulnerable Democratic Senate races in 2023, and backed Nikki Haley’s 2024 presidential bid.
