Rep Randy Fine is demanding that the Sheriff of Philadelphia – Rochelle Bilal – is arrested immediately for undermining federal law enforcement through threats against ICE agents.
This after Bilal held a news conference where she called ICE agents fake and wannabe law enforcement – saying she will arrest any agents that commit crimes. – aka detain illegal migrant criminals – in her jurisdiction.
Bilal making the comments after the shooting death of Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis.
Fine says these types of threats put federal agents in danger and is proof that DEI initiatives have failed the people.
Bilal has seen her fair share of scandals. Multiple employees have filed lawsuits against her for sexual harassment, illegal directives, financial misconduct, and retaliation against whistleblowers.
In 2023, she was accused of trying to double her salary to $285,000 using money that was supposed to go toward hiring more deputies.
