The Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard is saying that former FBI Director James Comey should be behind bar for the post he made to social media, allegedly threatening the life of President Donald Trump
Here it is – it says 86…47 – a clear reference to eliminating the 47th president of the United States, President Trump. After fierce backlash online, Comey deleted his post and claimed he didn’t know what 86 meant saying “I didn’t realize some folks associate those numbers with violence …”
Tulsi Gabbard isn’t buying it. Watch
QUESTION: “Do you believe Comey should be in jail?”
Gabbard: “I do … I’m very concerned for [Trump’s] life. And James Comey, in my view, should be held accountable and put behind bars for this.”
“James Comey should be put behind bars for this.”
“Whatever James Comey intent, he and people like him need to be held to account.”
“According to the law, which is something that he claims to have given his life for and stands by the rule of law. Fantastic. The rule of law says people like him who issued direct threats against the president. The United States, essentially issuing a call to ass*ssinate him, must be held accountable under the law.”
“Comey should be in jail. Any other person with a position of influence that he has people who take very seriously what a guy of his stature, his experience and what the propaganda media has built him up to be.”
“I’m very concerned for the president’s life. We’ve already seen ass*ssination attempts. I’m very concerned for his life. And James Comey, in my view, should be held accountable and put behind bars for this.”
Former FBI DIrector James Comey oversaw the controversial Crossfire Hurricane investigation that targeted President Donald Trump and his campaign and aimed to prove Russian Collusion.
The Investigation was based on a now debunked Steele Dossier that was funded by the Hillary Clinton Campaign in an effort to defeat Trump in the presidential election.
Comey is accused of leading an FBI investigation tainted by anti-Trump bias. They pointed to the involvement of FBI officials like Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, whose text messages expressed hate for Trump, as evidence of a broader partisan agenda under Comey’s watch. The lovebirds were caught lying on FBI forms and were exposed by Sidney Powell.
Comey was also criticized for the FBI’s use of the Clinton funded Steele dossier and accused of overseeing improper FISA surveillance of Carter Page with allegations that the FBI misled the FISA court under his leadership.
A 2024 whistleblower report alleged Comey authorized an earlier, off-the-books criminal investigation into Trump’s 2015 campaign, predating Crossfire Hurricane. This probe reportedly used undercover agents to target Trump associates.
President Donald Trump fired James Comey as FBI Director on May 9, 2017.
