Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and state officials pardoned an illegal migrant convicted of repeatedly sxually assaulting a 10-year-old girl.

Walz, along with other Minnesota officials, made the decision to clear the illegal migrant’s criminal record just as federal authorities were set to deport him back to Laos, which puts his deportation in jeopardy.

According to court records, Tou Lue Vang rped the young girl multiple times between 2002 and 2004. In one instance, he even offered her $10 to stay quiet about the abuse.

When police interviewed him, Vang tried to defend what he did, he called it “a cultural thing” to marry and have sx with girls as young as 12.

He also blamed the victim, saying she was just as guilty and should be arrested as well. According to Vang’s conviction documents he repeatedly had sx with the child and forced her to give him oral sx. He told police “I made a mistake, but this is a minor thing.” Vang was offered a  deal to plead guilty to first degree criminal sxual conduct and didn’t serve any prison time as part of the deal.

Vang was pardoned for the offense last month by the Minnesota Board of Pardons, which is made up of Governor Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison, and the Chief Justice of the MN Supreme Court. All pardons must be approved by the Minnesota Governor. The Department of Homeland Security said that Vang was set to be removed from the country right after the pardon was announced, but this move could now block his deportation. Critics say Governor Walz’s choice to step in and protect an illegal migrant convicted of child sxual abuse so he can stay in America sends a clear message about Democrats doing anything they can to keep their illegal migrant voting bloc in the country.

People are now asking should Gov. Walz (and other officials) be charged with a crime for trying to obstruct ICE and protect an illegal migrant from being deported by issuing the pardon? ******

DHS statement, “Governor Tim Walz’s decision to pardon an illegal alien convicted child rapist so he can remain in our country is disgusting,” said Acting DHS Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. “These are the criminal illegal aliens he and his Minnesota sanctuary politicians are protecting. Tou Lue Vang lost his legal status following his conviction for repeatedly sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl. Following the conviction, he was placed in removal proceedings and issued a final order of removal by a judge. This pardon will take away this child rapist’s qualifying convictions that made him removable from the United States.”
