Barrett has made a habit of voting against President Trump and conservative initiatives including:
2024 Presidential immunity case – Barrett wrote a separate concurrence criticizing the majority’s decision to ban evidence of official acts in prosecutions saying it “goes too far”
She sided with the liberal justices limiting the ruling’s scope in Trump’s favor.
2024 Barrett joined two liberal justices in helping special counsel Jack Smith’s case against Trump for election interference.
2025 – Barrett joined Chief Justice Roberts and the three liberal justices in a 5-4 vote denying Trump’s request to delay his sentencing in the New York hush-money case
