The man who shot a teenager canvassing for Democrat Senate Candidate Raphael Warnock appears to be a democrat activist, according to his social media.
46-year-old Jimmy Arturo Paiz, is being charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery for allegedly shooting a democrat canvasser in the leg. Savannah Police described the incident in a statement,
“According to the preliminary investigation, the teen was campaigning for Raphael Warnock for the upcoming run-off election when the incident occurred. While at the front door of one of the residences on Hartridge Street, the suspect fired a shot through the closed door, striking the teen.”
Main stream media outlets have been asserting that Paiz is a Republican, however, according to a Twitter account that appears to belong to Paiz, he believes that Republicans want to kill Americans, and is against Georgia Republican candidate for Senate Herschel Walker.
A tweet from November reads, “Listening to Herschel Walker speak is the same as listening to Mushmouth speak. It’s so embarrassing to live in a state with people that actually support this garbage-ass person. But let’s be real, the GOP loves whitewashed brothers, always have.”

Another tweet says, “This is an example of what authoritarian, right-wing, republican, GOP, ideology wishes it could get away with, and in many instances, it has to a lesser degree. Make no mistake, this is the ideology of the right.”

The teenager suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg.
