Musk then hinted at adding a video posting option to Twitter that would compete with YouTube after a YouTube creator responded to his post saying,
“I wonder what YouTube’s daily actives is.”
Musk’s reply was simply,.
“Let’s see what happens when Twitter offers good video with higher compensation for creators.”
Musk purchased Twitter for $44 billion and immediately started making moves to reduce workforce, and reinstate accounts that were previously suspended as he works toward a ‘free speech’ platform.
YouTube also routinely censors videos and permanently suspends accounts in the same manner that Twitter and other big tech giants have been doing for years.
