Trump making the statement after the Democrat primary results in New York, where three Zohran Mamdani socialists – who Republicans call far-left radicals pushing communist-style policies – won.
Trump saying, “The Communists are finally making their move. I’ve been waiting and preparing for this for a long time. It’s easy to be a Communist — All you have to do is say, ‘I’ll give you everything,’ but that means you’re taking it away from others that have earned it. ” “Over thousands of years, that Ideology has not worked once.”

Republican lawmakers led by Congressman Andy Ogles have called for the denaturalization and deportation of Mamdani, over allegations that he hid his support for convicted supporters of a Hamas trrorist organization when he naturalized as a U.S. citizen in 2018.

Mamdani, moved to New York City at age seven and became a naturalized citizen.
Critics say his pre-2018 public record shows clear sympathies that should have been disclosed on Form N-400, the standard naturalization application that asks specific questions about:
🔺️Membership in or association with communist or totalitarian organizations,
🔺️Advocacy for overthrowing the U.S. government, and
🔺️Ties to groups involved in trrorism or material support for designated foreign trrorist organizations.
In a 2017 rap track titled “Salaam” released under the name Mr. Cardamom, Mamdani rapped: “My love to the Holy Land Five. You better look ’em up.”
The Holy Land Five were the leaders of the Holy Land Foundation, convicted in federal court in 2008 of providing material support to Hamas, a U.S.-designated foreign trrorist organization since 1997.
The foundation funneled more than $12 million to Hamas, according to DOJ records from the case.
A jury also found the group liable in connection with the 1996 klling of a 17-year-old Jewish boy from New York outside Jerusalem.
Mamdani co-founded a Students for Justice in Palestine chapter in college and has long backed the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement against Israel.

He is an active member of the Democratic Socialists of America, whose platform includes anti-Israel positions and socialist economic demands and Marxist principles that are hostile to America .
Under the Immigration and Nationality Act citizenship obtained through “willful misrepresentation or concealment of a material fact” can be revoked.
