In what’s being described as reminiscent of the 2020 George Floyed riots, anti-ICE protesters turned violent, smashing the doors and windows of the federal courthouse in downtown Minneapolis while chanting “ICE OUT NOW!”
The mob of rioters can be seen ramming the glass entrances and bending frames under intense pressure, as federal officers inside were preparing for the mob to breach the building.
The rioters, fueled by outrage over the fatal shooting of a woman fin Minneapolis allegedly protesting against ICE when she tried to run over an ICE agent – according to DHS
The rioters also burned the American flag after tearing it down from a nearby pole
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz says he’s ready to deploy the National Guard –but has yet to act.
Critics argue Walz’s hesitation is allowing chaos to increase in a state that has become riddled with illegal immigration, gang violence, and fraud.
Which is why Over 2,000 agents were sent to Minneapolis to crackdown on that fraud and crime.
DHS say the agent acted in self-defense after the woman used her vehicle as a weapon.
However Local leaders, Like Mayor Jacob Frye are demanding that ICE “leave the city immediately,” claiming their presence is what’s causing the chaos.
