Man Shot While Gardening In Random Act Of Violence, No protests held

A 64-year-old man was shot and killed while gardening in his front yard in a random act of violence – critics point out that no protests have been held in response to the shooting.

Harold Harper had recently undergone major neck surgery and was using light gardening as a form of physical therapy and recovery.

His wife had been working in the yard with him but stepped inside. She heard the gunshot, ran back outside, and found him dead.

The shooter, Isaac Ezekiel Toye, 29, a total stranger walked up to Harper and shot him point blank in the back of the head for no reason, according to Police.

Authorities said  it was a “horrific” and “random act of violence” with no apparent motive or targeted element.

Earlier that afternoon police received a 911 call about a suspicious person (later identified as Toye, dressed in all black) who tried to stop a driver by motioning with what appeared to be a gun.

Minutes later, another call reported the shooting.

Officers quickly located and arrested Toye a couple of blocks away.

He was carrying a loaded 9mm pistol (with matching shell casing found next to Harper’s body), extra ammunition magazines, and a backpack.

He was charged with second-degree murder and two counts of aggravated assault (related to the earlier encounter).

Critics highlight that no protests were held, no widespread outrage erupted and no press conferences were held by democrats denouncing the random act of violence.

Toye has a criminal history that includes assaulting an officer of the law
