Before & After: Historic Fountain In DC Restored By Trump After Two Decades Of Decay

#NEW President Donald Trump has restored Columbus Circle at Union Station in Washington, D.C.!

President Donald Trump got the historic Christopher Columbus Memorial Fountain flowing again after it sat dry and neglected for 19 years.

What was once a major blight on the city now is operation and clean, the plumbing has been fixed, the plaza cleaned up, he restored the stonework, and reopened the whole site with safer walkways and fresh landscaping the same day Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy cut the ribbon  in front of the U.S. Capitol grounds.

The fountain, dedicated in 1912 as a 45-foot-tall marble tribute to Christopher Columbus had been neglected after decades of democrat rule in DC.

Water started flowing again for the first time in nearly two decades  under Trump’s “Making DC Safe & Beautiful again” executive push ahead of America’s 250th anniversary.

Republicans point out that crime, trash, and homeless camps took over public spaces under the last administration.
