A self-described ‘lib’ was arrested in Florida for threatening to kill Rep. Lauren Boebert.
According to Federal Court Documents, Matthew Lee Comiskey of Palm Beach County Florida posted numerous threatening tweets about the Colorado Congresswoman.
Comiskey is being charged with five counts of “Interstate Threat,” for his posts made to Twitter in September 2021. He was indicted May 26, however the indictment remained sealed until Friday when Cominskey was arrested.
In the posts, Cominsky wrote,
“I got my 2 amendment tool all ready to destroy Lauren’s face! Hopefully in front of her kids.”
Another post said, “Don’t worry Lauren, someone is coming soon to show your face the 2nd amendment in practice with a copper jacket. Enjoy.”
Additional tweets included,
“don’t come to Florida. Us libs have big guns here and we stand our ground. Take you down like Trayvon,” and “if I ever saw Lauren I’d be glad to take her out and go to prison. Would be job well done.” And
“Someone needs to put Lauren down like a sick dog. She is a true waste of life. Someone exercise their 2nd amendment right to her face!”
Comiskey’s bond was set at $50,000 on Friday. He’ll be back in court on Wednesday.
