Jan. 6 Committee May Subpoena Mike Pence, Wife Of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas

WASHINGTON  – Members of the House committee that continue to push the so called investigation into the January 6 protest at the Capitol said they may subpoena former Vice President Mike Pence and are waiting to hear from Virginia ‘Ginni’ Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

Lawmakers indicated they will release more claims about Donald Trump’s allegations of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 Presidential election and have promised to release information to the DOJ after the department complained that the committee was stalling by not providing transcripts from its 1,000 interviews.

“We’re not taking anything off the table in terms of witnesses who have not yet testified,” said Rep. Adam Schiff, who described a Pence subpoena as “certainly a possibility.”

“We would still, I think, like to have several high-profile people come before our committee,” said Schiff, D-Calif.

The committee chairman, Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., recently said the committee was still “engaging” with Pence’s lawyers.

Committee members also hope to talk to Ginni Thomas in an effort to pin her with a conflict of interest because her husband sits on the Supreme Court.

Thomas has publicly indicated that she ‘can’t wait’ to appear before the committee after receiving their request by letter last week.

Democrats claim that Thomas wrote to then-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows in the weeks after the election encouraging him to look into the allegations of voter fraud.

Democrats and the committee have coined a new term “the big rip off” alleging that Trump may have committed fraud by asserting that the election was stolen.

Donald Trump, however, stands firm in his beliefs that there was wide spread voter fraud in the 2020 election posting this message to Truth social,

“I felt the Election was RIGGED & STOLLEN, have from the very beginning, & have only gotten stronger in that belief with time & large amounts of additional evidence and proof.”

Trump also posted that the Jan. 6 hearings are a one sided attack and the members of the committee are not interested in the truth while asserting that his phone call with Brad Raffensberger was ‘perfect’

Raffensberger is set to testify Tuesday.
