They point out AOC’s history of pushing progressive feminism & opposing restrictions on women, to then covering her hair with a headscarf and joining M*slim celebrations.
In places like Iran, under m*slim Sharia law, women face beatings, imprisonment, r*pe or death for not wearing a headscarf.
Critics say that by wearing the headscarf, AOC is essentially approving of, and advocating for the islamic repressive treatment of women.
